My Wheel of Fortune quilt is still growing and I must say I do love the latest round in this sea blue colour. It was fun to photograph it in a sea of yellow flowers...
Unfortunately the yellow flowers are a noxious weed that spread everywhere, causing havoc to crops and livestock, but they do look pretty in my local park!
The quilt is now approx 76 inches in diameter, getting pretty large to be paper pieced on my lap, though I am almost done.
Just one brown row of diamonds to go before I do my squaring up row (not quite sure what colour that last round will be yet).
For more info on this quilt see here. I am very happy with the combo of Amy Butler Soul Blossoms fabrics mixed with Kaffe Fassett's shot cottons. A happy quilt!

This is one of my favourites of yours! Having said that you never make anything that is less than stellar...
Just loving the quilt and enjoying watching it grow!
Wow, beautiful colors, beautiful work! That's going to be one amazing quilt!!
those weeds look like beautiful yellow daisies to me. Pretty weeds and AMAZING quilt! I bought this book after seeing you make yours - so I can make it myself (some day!)
Wonderful!
It looks more gorgeous every round you add Cathy!
The blue is great. I just started quilting mine 1/4"along the star lines and it is looking good. You are nearly there.
A happy quilt indeed!
just gorgeous cathie - it's been interesting watching it grow

Lovely, Cathy - wish I could have been a stayer! But then, I love so much of your work!

Lovely! You are making amazing progress! (I'd be on the 3rd row at most). It's fun to watch how each row/color changes it so much!
Really like this. It looks like a tumbling block design, only done on the round instead of the rows. Love the scrappy look!!
I Love anything Round..and I have Mentioned Before ...I Love THis!!!
cheers
Just fantastic Cathy....
Oh, that blue just made everything else sparkle! Another row of brown will look good too. Bravo!

You must be thrilled with how it's growing and looking, it's really wonderful. The photos are gorgeous Cathy.
Cathy it is looking wonderful.
I am so impressed at how much you have done - I just finished my 8th ring (purple).
People keep asking me how big it is going to get. I am telling them that I am not sure, in case I get really sick of sewing the very large rings.
Good luck with the last few rings.
It gets harder to photograph as it grows, doesn't it - your photograph with the quilt hung on the fence really shows it well.
Looks great Cathy...you must be looking forward to getting the last row on and squaring it up. Just beautiful.
Stunning Cathy..are you leaving it round?
just beautiful I love this quilt more every time you post it!
Kathie
Absolutely beautiful Cathy. Having made a queen sized GFG all Englich paper pieced, I comprehend somewhat the amount of hours put into the hand sewing. A true labor of love.
This is looking fabulous Cathy! So fun and colourful!
Indeed a very happy quilt. I love the way you "go out of your way" to take photos of your lovely creations. I must make more effort also!
Beautiful Cathy!!
A wonderful combination of fabrics.
I love the splashes of red!
I can't believe how fast it's growing! beauty!
Love all of your quilts! Could you show how you fold the fabric on the diamond points. Or maybe its how you cut at the point. I have more extra in my way than you do. Thanks. JoAnne in Virginia, USA
